I think the use of "Him" in this poem interesting because the capital letter shows that not only is she talking about her husband but all men, these great men and the women that are associated with them. I think it is interesting because it can also mean that she gave Darwin the idea of evolution and that he stole it, so the capital shows that she specifically told he even though it was in a mocking way.
The World's Wife is a fantastic collection. Here, the use of "Him" is intriguing. Can anyone say why?
